Executive summary
A Fortune 10 security product marketing team needed senior PMM capacity during a big shift: repositioning its security operations platform around AI and agentic SOC capabilities while keeping a heavy launch calendar on track. An embedded Arbor87 PMM took on the flagship monthly blog, launch messaging and field enablement. The team got record audience results and a set of AI/agentic assets its sellers could use right away.
The challenge
- Keep a flagship monthly "What's New" product blog shipping on time every month, including slow summer release cycles.
- Turn a major industry conference moment into lasting audience growth instead of a one-day spike.
- Update core field and partner content from a product-led story to an AI/agentic SOC narrative, during a period of organizational change.
- Support several new feature and product launches with messaging and seller-ready assets.
What Arbor87 delivered
Flagship blog, run end to end.
The PMM ran the monthly product blog across a team of product marketers and product managers: workflows, content guidance for PMs, positioning for each announced feature, and publishing. Every 2026 edition shipped on schedule. In slow release months, the PMM filled out editions with event and webinar content so the blog stayed worth reading.
Launch messaging bank.
For one of the platform's most strategically important feature launches, the PMM wrote a modular, field-ready messaging bank. It included elevator pitches, value statements, use case and compliance messaging, competitive differentiation, objection handling, and supporting slides with comparison charts. Downstream teams could lift content from it directly into battlecards, partner decks, campaigns and social posts.
AI/agentic repositioning of core field content.
The PMM rewrote a customer outcomes and differentiators reference that field and partner teams use as the source for their own materials, moving it to a modern, agentic SOC narrative. Because so much content is built on this one document, a single revision carried through to many derived assets. The PMM also led the agentic revision of the platform's rapid adoption guide, which is about 50% new AI/agentic content, and took it through customer experience reviews until it was ready for customers.
New launch, day-one field assets.
For a new integrated SOC offering, the PMM delivered the first go-to-market assets: a seller announcement email template and an introductory infographic. Both focus on customer value rather than product architecture, so sellers could use them from launch day.
From blog to demand engine.
The PMM also proposed evolving the blog into a demand generation and sales enablement channel, with a sample short-form video script and LinkedIn post as a proof of concept. The team approved a pilot.
The results
- The field requested the agentic adoption guide for immediate use with a strategic enterprise customer
